In summer Tignes provides numerous activities that will make your holiday special. From extreme sports to more relaxing pursuits, Tignes has something for everyone.

The Palafour and Toviere lifts in Le Lac are open to mountain bikers as well as the Tufs and Bollin lifts in Val Claret offering a varied range of downhill, enduro and ebike runs for beginners through to experts.

The funicular railway takes thousands of summer skiers who come to Tignes to ski on the Grand Motte glacier.

Tignes has the highest 18 hole golf course in Europe which winds its way around the picturesque lake. A great option is to buy a ski/golf ticket which allows you to ski in the morning and play golf in the afternoon.

Other popular sports include mountaineering, horse riding, rock climbing, hiking, adventure trails, quad biking, paragliding, paddle boarding, canoeing, 28 tennis courts, skatepark and a children's playground.

The Aquatic centre on the edge of the lake offers a 25 metre pool, kid's pool, water slides, Gym and a spa centre with sauna/jacuzzi/steam room.

Another option is to travel down into Bourg St Maurice where you can white water raft, canyon or kayak down a 24 kilometre stetch of the Isere River which is not for the faint hearted!

Tignes has something to suit everyone all year round.
